‘Fire on the Mountain’ Fireworks Show
Set To Light Up 4th of July Holiday
In what has become a fun summer tradition for family and friends getting together for a backyard barbecue, and then, as it becomes dark, enjoying a dazzling fireworks show, the annual fireworks extravaganza “Fire on the Mountain” returns to Berryville Wednesday, July 4th to celebrate Independence Day.
The fireworks are scheduled to begin between dusk and dark, probably around 9 p.m. that night. Fireworks will once again be set off by Fleetwood Pyrotechnics of Salem, Missouri, from high atop Saunders Heights, so the show can be seen anywhere in town.
As the fireworks explode over the city of Berryville, local radio station KTHS 107.1 FM plans to simulcast patriotic music over the airwaves during and after the fireworks show, according to radio station manager Jamie Hussey.
The City of Berryville and the Greater Berryville Area Chamber of Commerce, event sponsor of this year’s fireworks show, are once again teaming up to make the annual ‘Fire on the Mountain’ fireworks display a reality.
The chamber is currently seeking contributions this year as in past years to help fund the event. The City of Berryville’s designated fireworks fund will handle the contributions for complete transparency.
Donations by check can be made payable to the ‘City of Berryville’ and mailed to City Hall or to the local chamber office at 506 S. Main Street, Berryville, AR, 72616. Businesses and residents can also have their donations picked up by calling the Chamber office at 870-423-3704.
