2017 Berryville Chamber Awards Banquet

Jeff Crow, director of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, will be the featured speaker at the Annual Berryville Chamber Awards Banquet Thursday, October 12. The Awards Banquet will begin at 6 p.m. at the Berryville Community Center and will include a silent auction.
Crow, of Bismarck, has been director of the agency since July 1, 2016, when the Commission unanimously selected him to replace Mike Knoedl, who retired after 31 years with Game and Fish, the last five years as director.
Crow began his career with the commission as a wildlife officer in 1986. He left the agency to join the Arkansas State Police in 1996 and worked there until 2011, when he became an instructor at the University of Arkansas’ Criminal Justice Institute.
He returned to the commission in 2012 to run its enforcement division. He was promoted to deputy director in 2013 and was named chief of staff in 2014.

Whose life has become synonymous with the ideals of living and working in our community? What new business has brought a new, positive impact to our community? What business has set an outstanding example and contributed to our local economy and to the citizens of the area? Which area youth reflects the best hopes for the future? And what business has contributed to our community through the attention to its building or landscaping? 

These questions will be answered when the Chamber of Commerce announces the five awards to be presented at the October 12 Annual Chamber Awards Banquet, recognizing local citizens and businesses for the contributions they have made to help make our Berryville the great place that it is. The five awards to be announced October 12 are Noteworthy New Business; Business Excellence; Youth Ambassador; Tom Earls Distinguished Ambassador; and Business Beautification.
