About Cole Jester

Arkansas’s 35th Secretary of State, Cole Jester, took office on January 1, 2025, following his appointment by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Prior to his service in the Governor’s Office, Jester worked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and clerked at the University of Virginia School of Law, including roles at Friday, Eldridge & Clark, the U.S. Air Force, and argued criminal cases in Virginia district court. He also served as Managing Editor of The Journal of Law and Politics.
