    The Berryville Ice Cream Social Pageant has long been one of the festival's most treasured traditions. Each year, contestants of all ages have the opportunity to build confidence, make lasting friendships, and represent our community with pride.

    Whether it's a participant's very first pageant or they're returning to the stage, every contestant is celebrated for their personality, sportsmanship, and community spirit. The pageant is designed to create lasting memories while showcasing the heart of Berryville.

    Contestants are grouped by age to ensure a fun, welcoming, and fair experience for everyone participating in the Miss Royal Scoop Pageant.

    Baby Miss Royal Scoop

    0–12 Months

    Tiny Miss Royal Scoop

    13–23 Months

    Petite Miss Royal Scoop

    2–3 Years

    Little Miss Royal Scoop

    4–6 Years

    Junior Miss Royal Scoop

    7–9 Years

    Pre-Teen Miss Royal Scoop

    10–12 Years

    Teen Miss Royal Scoop

    Competition Information

     

    Required Competition

    Formal Wear • $45 Entry Fee

    Every contestant participates in Formal Wear, where confidence, personality, stage presence, and poise are celebrated in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

    Optional Categories

    • Theme Wear (+$10)
      Show off creativity and personality with a themed outfit.
    • Photogenic (+$10)
      Submit your favorite photograph for judging.

    Contestant Profile

    Registration includes a short contestant profile that is used during introductions on stage.

    Here are answers to some of the most common questions about the Miss Royal Scoop Pageant. If you need additional assistance, our pageant committee is happy to help.

    Who can participate?
    Contestants must meet the age requirements for one of the official Miss Royal Scoop divisions. Please refer to the age division section above to find the appropriate category.
    What should contestants wear?
    All contestants participate in the Formal Wear competition. Contestants may also choose to enter the optional Theme Wear and Photogenic categories.
    Do I have to enter the optional categories?
    No. Theme Wear and Photogenic are completely optional and may be added for an additional fee.
    When and where is the pageant?
    The 2026 Miss Royal Scoop Pageant will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Berryville Performing Arts Center, located behind Berryville High School.
    How do I register?
    Simply complete the registration form through the Registration Center above. If you have questions before registering, contact the pageant committee and we'll be happy to assist you.
